Julian is a mutiplatform creative producer, director and actor across major events and festivals, theatre and film.
His event producing and programming work includes the Ideas & Music programs for Vivid Sydney, TEDx Sydney, Pacha Sydney, Spectrum Now and Kidtopia festivals. He has delivered headline events with global talent and brands including Spike Lee, James Cameron, Jessie J, Netflix, Microsoft and Vice Australia.
He has a background as a music promoter and DJ, working with a number of global artists early in their career including Alison Wonderland, Hayden James, Flight Facilities and Rufus Du Sol. In theatre, he produced and developed the premiere season of new Australian musical Evie May for Hayes Theatre Co. and a number of independent Australian plays.
He trained in directing at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, with his short film Gone playing at over 15 festivals worldwide and screening on UKTV and Amazon Prime. He co-directed online comedy series Quite Frankly and was one of 15 directors selected as part of Google's Share Some Good program his short Navigating the Net.
He studied acting at the prestigious Atlantic Acting School in New York and has work across TV, commercials and theatre, including Off Broadway. Upcoming acting credits include the Back to the Rafters series for Amazon Prime, Aus/US film Christmas Down Under and web series Everybody Hates Me. His voice can also be heard in campaigns for NAB, Foxtel, Volkswagen and the among others.
Additionally, Julian is on the Arts Advisory Committee at Blacktown Arts, with strong connections to Western Sydney. He is also developing a TV dramedy series set in the Australian music business.
